Adhesive vinyl (PrestigeLine, EssentialLine) is bonded to the substrate over its entire surface. This creates a particularly stable floor with a low build-up height – ideal for heavily used and commercial areas.

Click vinyl (PremiumLine) is installed as a floating floor: the planks are joined together using the click system, without any adhesive. The integrated impact sound insulation ensures pleasant walking comfort, and installation is quick and clean.

The wear layer is the transparent protective layer on top of the decor. It protects the floor from abrasion, scratches and wear. The thicker the wear layer, the more resistant and durable the floor.

Decotec floors have a wear layer of 0.55 mm or 0.7 mm, making them suitable even for commercial areas with very heavy use.

With professional installation and care, high-quality vinyl flooring lasts for many years. The key factors are the wear layer and everyday loads. Thanks to their strong wear layers, Decotec floors are designed for heavy residential use and very heavy commercial use.

Yes. Decotec vinyl floors are 100% waterproof and are therefore also suitable for kitchens, bathrooms and areas with high humidity. Please follow the instructions in the installation guide when installing in wet rooms.

Yes. All Decotec vinyl floors are suitable for installation over underfloor heating, up to a surface temperature of 27 °C. Please follow the instructions in the respective installation guide.

Yes. Thanks to the robust wear layer, Decotec vinyl floors are highly scratch-resistant and ideal for households with pets.
